Gabriella Janel: Getting Naked 2

Dear Diary,
I am excited!! Today I received my NAKED 2 palette! I had first seen a video on the palette by
Kandee Johnson on Youtube, and had no clue they would be doing an early release. I had signed up for the Urban Decay newsletter a few weeks ago so I knew that when they came out I would get notified, but I wasn't expecting to see the palette until mid to late January!

I had gone about my day as usual and was shopping in White Plains when I had gotten an email that the palette was for sale on the website as an early release promotion and only 5,000 were available! I was so excited I logged on and put it in my basket and went to paypal from my phone... I logged into my paypal account and put selected the necessary info that was needed for shipment... but when I went to pay for the palette my phone froze!!! It completely FROZE!! I was freaking out! I wanted this palette and I didn't want to wait for it! I had no number to call urban decay and purchase the palette b/c my phone was frozen! I took out the battery and put it back in, it took a few minutes for it to completely turn on. When it finally did I went back to the Urban Decay website and it was completely sold out!! I was so upset, but then I figured it wasn't meant to be and I can wait for it to be released again.

I went home and was happy with the other purchases I had made that day, so not having the palette wasn't a big deal to me. BUT I had to check the site again, just to make sure because you never know, somebody could have made a mistake and purchased too many and then called the company to remove one of the purchases. Nope, there wasn't anything.

A couple of days later I was at home getting ready for work and I heard my phone go off notifying me that I have an email, I didn't run to it b/c I thought it was just updating me on my youtube subscriptions. I finally get dressed and then go and check my phone and it says they have the palette for sale again on the Urban Decay website!! This time it wasn't slipping from my hands! AND to make it even more fantastic I had a 10% off coupon code that I still hadn't used from when I signed up for the UD website! I placed my order and went to work!!!

Today the palette is here and I can't stop looking at it.. I am comparing it to the original Naked palette by UD, and swatching it! Orginal price is $50, It comes with a dual ended eyeshadow brush & also a mini lip junkie in "Naked" Has 3 matte colors and 5 exclusive (NEW) shades. It also has a harder casethan the orignal naked palette. I believe it is made out metal, it reminds me a little of a pencil case that I used to get to go to school with. lol!
